Moving from Words to Actions

This project team was formed in June 2010 to improve communication and coordination between and among the Water for Life partnerships to identify shared strategic priorities that will contribute to achieving the Water for Life strategy’s three goals. This team’s work builds on the previous work of the Council’s Shared Governance and Watershed Planning Framework team. The team’s Terms of Reference are available below.

In June 2011, the Council approved the team’s final report, 15 recommendations, and communications plan. The report’s recommendations are variously directed to the three Water for Life partners as well as the Government of Alberta and the Alberta Stewardship Network. The implementation of the recommendations is expected to strengthen coordination and communication among and between the three Water for Life partners.
