The 2006 – 2009 Business Plan for the Alberta Water Council (AWC) sets the strategic priorities and guides the AWC’s work for the next three years.
The Council’s goals for 2006-2009 are as follows:

• Goal 1: Alberta has an effective, adaptive water management system to achieve the three Water For Life goals.
• Goal 2: Albertans are empowered and engaged in creating shared solutions to the challenges of managing our water and watersheds.
